Craftsmanship passed down through generations in the heart of Minocqua, WI.
The Foundation
Our story began around 2010 when our dad, a proud veteran and survivor of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a motorcycle accident, began building custom cabinetry and furniture. Alongside him was our mom, who had a knack for bringing old furniture back to life through refinishing and refurbishing. Together, they laid the foundation for TBI Guy and Daughters Custom Cabinetry and Furniture.
Learning the Craft
We’re Bri and Stacia, two sisters who never imagined we’d follow in Dad’s footsteps. In 2020, after COVID brought us both back home, we found ourselves in the shop learning the trade directly from him. For two years, Dad patiently taught us the ins and outs of cabinetry ~ from the smallest joinery details to doing things right the first time.
"Dad always said he was 'teaching us to fish so we could eat for a lifetime.' In early 2023, Dad officially retired to travel the country in a motorhome. Today, we’re proud to carry on what our parents started under a new name—The Daughters Custom Cabinetry and Furniture."
